CLEVELAND, OHIO – Aitheras Aviation Group, LLC is proud to announce it has added in-house medical authority to its professional services. The company holds medical practice licenses in Ohio and Florida. To date, the company has relied upon its affiliations and joint ventures with leading health systems and providers to fulfill the medical services supporting a patient fixed-wing air ambulance transport. The company will continue to utilize and support these relationships. “The addition of our own medical personnel reflects our expanding worldwide services, which often necessitate the need for the crews to be away from home for several days per transport”, says George Katsikas, CEO.
The company’s Medical Director will be Gabriel Krenitsky, MD. Dr. Krenitsky is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has performed as a Life Flight physician. He has assembled a team of Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Paramedics to meet the unique needs of each patient transport.
Aitheras currently operates from 3 base locations - Cleveland, Ohio and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. On March 15, 2018 the company will be commencing operations from a fourth base site in Belmar, New Jersey. This operation is being established to service the greater New York and Philadelphia marketplaces. The company holds the esteemed Platinum rating from ARGUS International, is the fixed-wing provider of the Commission of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) certified medical transport program for the Cleveland Clinic, and is an active participant in the FAA’s SMS (Safety Management System) program.
Aitheras works in partnership with several leading health care systems in the United States, Caribbean and West Indies. The company holds Worldwide Authority, granted by the Federal Aviation Administration, and has successfully completed air medical transports from 56 countries. The Aitheras fleet consists of 12 jet aircraft, with ranges from 1,700 miles to circumnavigating the world.
